Team

Three founders. One open system.

OpenPulse started because Mateo was frustrated with a subscription wearable. It became a modular biosignal platform once the team realized the sharper problem was B2B: give partners exactly the sensors and data path they need.

Origin story

From "no subscription" to a configurable platform.

The first idea was an open-source fitness band: privacy-friendly, repairable, and customizable. The strategic shift came after hard target-group conversations: "everyone" was not a market. Pilot partners were.

Founders

Young, technical, and unusually close to the hardware.

The age is part of the story, but not the pitch. The pitch is that the team can design PCBs, run the build process, talk to partners, and keep shipping.
